With 7,5 out of 8 Elizabeth Cassidy managed to qualify for the playoffs in the Kenyan National Youth Championships held in Nairobi, Kenya. The event saw a new participation record when 9000 children joined the chessparty. That did not disturb Cassidy that stayed focused during the whole tournament.
