Shukri and Genevieve who both are from very poor areas managed to win the Kenyan Championships in their age category. An amazing performance considering that they have been growing up struggling to get basic needs like food. But luckily and thanks to Judy Kiragu we came across them and could change their lives to the better. Now they have won the right to represent Kenya in a couple of international Championships, which means that they will fly for first time. A fantastic development.
Another player that also won her age category u12 was Winnie Kaburo. Her GM coaching has developed her into a fierce attacker which is very pleasant to see. A big congratulation to all three girls who keep making us proud.
