GM Elham Amar from Norway who is in our extreme makeover program has had a a very strong start of 2025 and with a series of strong results he has increased his rating enough to cross 2600 in FIDE elo. We are very excited to see what the future holds for this young chess talent. We also would like to thank his sponsor FERD and their CEO Morten Borge who has been a very important player in Elhams journey towards the top and of course also his coach GM Simen Agdestein. Who could have thought that this shy, young kid would be a Super Grandmaster some years later. We did! and due to his talent and that he got a chance he is now in the elite to stay.
