Pantham makes it to The World Championships!

17 year old Pantham Kaewpitakkun from Norway managed to qualify to the World Youth Chess Championships in Albania and the European Chess Championships in Montenegro. Then there was only one big problem left and that is how he was going to be able to afford the tournaments that together would mean expenses of 5 000 euros. But of course 2 of our mentors helped out to solve this issue so Pantham can fullfil his dreams to compete at the highest level. Now he will go to both tournaments sponsored by FERD, Sissener and us. A big thankyou to the CEO of FERD Morten Borge and the CEO of Sissener Philipe Sissener for making this possible.
Morten Borge and IM Saad Elmi also won Business Meets Chess & Kids in Oslo last week
And Philippe Sissener and Abdishakur Elmi were second.
Ola Marius Bergseng and Pantham Kaewpitakkun was third in the tandemchess tournament but Pantham was clearly the biggest winner of the night since he also got two new sponsors in FERD and Sissener.
Einar Blix Huseby and Marte Bakken Kyrkjebø also shared the bronze medal with Ola Marius and Pantham

A big shoutout to SEB for being excellent hosts.

The CEO of SEB Norway Johan Persson had a lot of fun at his first chess tournament ever, here in pair with GM Kristian Stuvik Holm.
The top management also flew in from Sweden, here in the shape of John Turesson, chess is important!
