The sun was shining, the food delicious and the atmosphere was great. Or like the Take Take Take founder Mats Andre Kristiansen said “The only thing I can complain about was my own play”. After another exciting final the home team with Ferds CEO Morten Borge and IM Saad Elmi bagged home the title. We were also very happy to see CM Robert Mcligeyo from Kenya attend the event. We started to support Robert 8 years ago when he was in Kenya and just learned the rules, and now he is a Candidate Master that plays in the Kenyan National Team. Through his chess and academic skills he got a scholarship to study digital business at Norwegian Business School. A fantastic story that really represents Chess 2 Change in the best possible way.
